I am a cynical young lady who hypothesizes that the ideal man (even the ideally flawed man) does not exist outside the realms of fiction, and if he does - he has a girlfriend, he prefers the company of men, or he was at his peak in the 1980's or earlier. Through this blog, I will prove this fact. If by some fluke I end up meeting the perfect man, I will admit defeat and live happily ever after. Ideal and Unattainable Man no. 2: Don Draper

Reasons why he is ideal:

- The man knows how to wear a suit.

- Have you seen the way he talks to women? He could tell you to shut up and you’d still throw your bra at him.

Not so much:

- Repeatedly cheats on his wife with questionable women.

- Probably has lung cancer, a deteriorated liver.

- If alive today, would be about 82 years old.

Reasons why he is unattainable:

- He is a fictional character, created by genius Matthew Weiner on the AMC television show Mad Men. Watch it. Faint. Repeat.
